Well, I was right.  Derek was safe and Austin was in the bottom 2.  What the heck was that?  Austin at least has a voice that can carry a Broadway show.  I haven't heard it crack once.  That alone should put Austin in front of Derek, even if he was goofey last week.  But, not only did the audience put him in the bottom two, he received the lowest votes.  I find it very interesting that not only did the judges save him, but 2 out of 3 named him as their Danny.  I for one was impressed that he was the first "saved" contestant that came out and sang like he was the in the top instead of the bottom.  I think the judges were impressed by that too.  I will say that I actually voted this time, like that would make any difference.

I have two possible outcomes to the contest.

Max/Ashley
Austin/Laura

Yes, I did not pair the two strongest contestants together.  This is because, despite the strength of Max and Laura, they don't look like they fit together.  Oddly enough, I paired them exactly how they were paired in the duet episode.  I would need to see them switch partners in order to change my mind.

Well, that's all until next week.  Finals!! :)

Ok, far be it for me to pick one guy that I like and stick with him through the whole competition.  I didn't have any favorites when they showed the Grease Acadamy, but there were a few who stood out.

My sister was working today at Charlotte Russe and starting assisting a lady who came into the shop.  She thought this lady looked familiar and asked her if they had met before.  The lady said "Do you watch tv?  I was on a show called So You Think You Can Dance."  My sister immediately knew who she was and said, "You're the popper!"  The lady said yes her name is Ashley.

My sister wouldn't even let me say hello to her today before she started screaming about meeting her favorite dancer (besides Travis) from So You Think You Can Dance.

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since I've posted!   Actually  I had suprised myself with how often I was posting before. ;)

Everyone should know about my obsession with Stargate Atlantis and with David Hewlett in particular.  These last two weeks I've had a lot to squee about both.  The new season started with a bang, David and the rest of the cast appeared at Comic Con over the weekend, and there has been a lot of stuff about his new film "A Dogs Breakfast".  These things have rendered me almost speachless as I have fallen into my usual lurkdom and read everyone elses squeeage with an occasional comment from me here and there.

But, despite all of my excitement a couple of things have happened since I last posted that has me a little concerned for my show.

Ok, I need to get this said before Atlantis completely takes me over today.

Last nights episode left me sad but not surprised.  It was time for talented dancers Musa and Ashley to go home.

I, like everyone else, got really excited when the Sci-Fi Channel posted the "With a Little Stargate..." commercials on their website.  In fact I have watched them more than once.  Of course my interest in sci-fi extends beyond Stargate and I watch a lot of the sci-fi channel and I have seen these commercials several times.  Well, all but McKay's elevator commercial.  In fact, even though I know it's been on, I have never seen it on the channel itself while it seems like I see Sheppard all the time.  So it got me thinking, where's McKay?

I decided to do a little research by recording as much of 24 hours of the Sci-Fi Channel as I could from 7:00 am - 4:00am and this is what I found out:
